The Scheme enables the Commonwealth Government to recover repayment of Medicare compliance debts from both a medical practitioner and another party (such as a medical practice)\, which become payable as a result of incorrectly claimed Medicare benefits. The Commonwealth Government will do so by making a shared debt determination. \nIt is important for medical practitioners and medical practices to understand when and how the scheme may apply. \nPlease join us for a 60 minute webinar on the Shared Debt Recovery Scheme on Thursday 5 September.
