The Hospital Health Check is widely used by medical students looking for internships at hospitals with a good track record on wellbeing, access to leave, rostering and overtime, and bullying and harassment.
AMA (NSW)’s Gender Equity Ministerial Committee is working towards gender equity in medicine to ensure there are equal opportunities for all medical graduates.
AMA supports policies to tackle climate change and social issues that impact on the health of Australians.
The AMA supports the Australian Medical Students’ Association, the peak representative body for Australian medical students.
AMSA lobbies on behalf of medical students on important issues such as funding for medical school places, intern and specialty training positions, and ensuring the adequate provision of work and training places for graduating students.
