AMA (NSW) condemns NSW Health’s decision to hinder emergency payments to flood-affected doctors
April 8, 2022Notice of Annual General Meeting
April 21, 2022We have received compelling feedback from members on the launch of our Payroll Tax campaign Your Quality Care – Taxed.
Members have expressed concern about the impact this tax would have on their ongoing viability and some have indicated they are considering closing their practice to avoid the financial distress that a payroll tax audit would cause.
Evident from all of these conversations is that there is a real sense of hesitation from practice owners about speaking publicly about this issue, for fear that doing so would trigger an audit from Revenue NSW.
We have published some of the comments we have received anonymously on our website here.
