AMA (NSW) Webinar: Medical Records & Privacy

Please join us for our next ‘Workplace Wednesday Webinar’ on Wednesday 30 August 2023, at 12:15pm. AMA (NSW) Workplace Relations Advisor, Melanie Fayad will be presenting practical information regarding the medical record-keeping and privacy obligations for private practices.

All medical practitioners have legal and professional obligations to make and maintain medical records. Good medical records are essential for the provision of good patient care and can also be a medical practitioner’s best defence to a complaint or claim. Further, medical practitioners and practices will often need to respond to requests for medical records of their patients, and these requests can come in a variety of forms.

This webinar will provide you with practical information regarding the medical record-keeping and privacy obligations for private practices.
