2023 Hospital Health Check is now closed

Thank you for your interest in the AMA (NSW) Hospital Health Check (HHC) survey. We have now closed the survey. We are analysing the data and will be posting this year’s results in the coming months.

The results of the survey shine a spotlight on areas such as rostering, overtime, wellbeing, bullying & harassment at individual hospitals, as well as across the State. In addition to providing a platform from which to advocate for important changes, the survey is a valuable tool for other doctors-in-training who are considering their career options and placement opportunities.

The annual survey was first launched in 2017 and provides important insights into the system. The findings have directly contributed to changes in overtime claiming, rostering, and more – check out the findings from previous years to track the year-on-year improvements.
