What doctors at this hospital are saying

What do you value most about your hospital?

“Certain departments are caring and supportive of both staff and patients.”

“Pays overtime claims without fuss.”

“Helpful and supportive senior medical officers, also free parking.”

If you could change three things at your hospital what would they be?

“1. Access to wifi. It’s crazy that there is no wifi available for staff access – so much more could be made easier if clinicians could use their smartphones to contact each other. 2. Better options for food and drink. This could be with a staff canteen or vending machines in clinical lounge/rest areas. The prices at the cafes in the hospital are extortionate.”

“Additional computers in workplace (currently only have three computers for six doctors in a hospital with online charts. Improved rostering – currently rostered onto single night shift within the work weekend and little recovery time. Less rostered overtime (heavy overtime schedule).”

“Reduce rostered overtime. Regular 90 hour fortnights before unrostered over time is too much.”
