What doctors at this hospital are saying

What do you value most about your hospital?

“The consultants are supportive.”

“Culture amongst JMOs is very supportive and helpful.”

“Pays overtime. Supportive admin staff. Great scheduled teaching sessions.”

If you could change three things at your hospital what would they be?

“More computers on the wards. Healthy food vending machine for after hours. Protected meal breaks.”

“Change the on call roster so that we’re not on call for 24 hours and potentially have to work day and night shifts on the same day. Decrease the amount of teaching, 3 hours weekly is too long and sometimes will make us stay back in order to safely complete our jobs. Have an O/G after hours JMO so that we’re not called in to assist with C sections during our after hours week. There should be JMO access to pre admission clinic after 4pm.”

“More space, more computers and more working computers, more tea rooms.”
