What doctors at this hospital are saying
What do you value most about your hospital?
“Great teaching and supportive environment.”
“Generally staff work together to ensure patients get the best care available given the circumstances (bed pressure, staffing pressures, resource allocation)”
“Really friendly hospital. Very supportive regs and consultants. Good support from regs on after hour shifts Overtime is payed and you are encouraged to claim.”
If you could change three things at your hospital what would they be?
“Pay doctors for remote appraisals. Facilitate parking for after hours doctors. Improve the rural rotation options as there are not enough for all the junior doctors.”
“Better staff facilities. Better rostering. More even distribution of workload between staff.”
“There are very few spaces for rest and study. The toilets are old and unpleasant and there are often fruit flies there and in the break room. Having additional equipment such as more ultrasound machines (that are less cumbersome and newer models), trolleys in each patient bay for use during procedures, better family meeting rooms and more natural light.”
